This is
my first time staying at the BRIC and my husband's second. He stayed here 6
years ago when it was the Parisma Caribe and remembers the owners cooking
breakfast and manning fhe front desk! We were both very, very happy with our
stay and I can echo many of the comments posted already. Patti truly does make
the best pancakes and is very patient if you are practicing your Mexican
Spanish. We were unfortunate to have room 25 (balcony over busy Calle 28) but
did not have to share the inside balcony with anyone so still had some great
times sitting outside. I would recommend room 25 if you wanted a little more
space - it seemed to be slightly larger than any of the others. All of the
staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - even the poor overnight security
who kindy said "buenas dias" every morning at 6:30am just before the
end of his shift. Quiet, clean and simple - that's exactly what we were looking
for. The free Internet is a really nice touch but wasn't availabe all of the
time (faulty keyboard). Also, be sure to bring your own hair dryer and don't
worry about beach towels - this great place provides them. Highly recommended
and will definitely go back.

that and even better. the value, the personnel, the convience, location are
perfect. i have been going to mexico for close to 30 years and this is really a
most wonderful place to stay. Abril, check in and front desk always always
smiling, happy and most important of all helps with anything you need or want.
the rest of front staff are just as nice and always checking that all is well.

What an
amazing surprise! We stayed at the Bric hotel for a week and have enjoyed every
minute of it. The grounds are well maintained and the whole area looks like an
oasis. Our room is clean and the balcony is a nice area to sit out, enjoy the
breeze and have glass of wine in the afternoon. The staff was very attentive
and accommodating and always made you feel welcomed. The hotel is ideally
located within a few minutes walk to 5th avenue and close to all the fantastic
restaurants. Mamitas beach is just a short walk away. It‘s a great hotel, good
value and we will most definitely stay here again when we go back to Playa del
Carmen.

This is
my 2nd stay at The Bric and it has not lost it's charm! The rooms were very
clean and well maintained just like the beautiful courtyard. The staff just as
helpful and caring. I was very ill one day and the cleaning lady was wonderful
to me. Abril was her usual cheerful self with that welcoming smile and
accommodating way. I enjoy being a short distance from 5th avenue and still
being able to enjoy some quiet at night. Thank you for a wonderful stay .... I
will return!!!

This is
a nice hotel in a quiet area very close to 5th Avenue and the beach. Rooms are
clean and simply decorated, good shower pressure and hot water, beautiful pool
area (although pool looked like it needed cleaning from plant droppings.) We
particularly liked the terrace. Breakfast was good, but like previous reviewers
have said go early because items did not seem to be replenished. The staff are
friendly and accommodating. If you need a wake up call they will knock on your
door as there are no phones in the rooms. This is a great value and we would
definitely stay again.
